Troscan is founded on the principle that achieving timeless design is a deliberate process. Through concept, prototyping and meticulous craftsmanship, we strive to create beautiful furniture that will become a part of peoples’ lives.
Our skilled team works together to execute each design with passion and thoughtful attention to detail. Every set of hands, whether rendering concepts or finishing the edge of a chair, plays an integral role in the process of creation.

FOUNDERS
DEIRDRE JORDAN
Deirdre Jordan calls on her background in industrial design and interior architecture to continuously develop Troscan’s modernist approach to furniture design.
Deirdre’s lifelong commitment to the arts and education combine to create a unique vision in the furniture design industry. Her experience as an architecture and industrial design professional helped shape her process, focusing on conceptual exploration for a variety of clients, detailed rendering and collaborative execution with her partner, Bob Robinson.
As a driving creative force behind Troscan, Deirdre strives to create functional, iconic and timeless furniture for everyday life.
BOB ROBINSON
Exposed to handcrafted furniture at an early age, Bob Robinson works with the ethos of his father’s attention to quiet detail and love of materials.
In his youth, Bob developed an affinity for building classical and flamenco guitars, a craft he continues to perfect to this day. He applied
his passion for exceptional woodworking while studying architecture and furniture design, and began to embody the values of structure and discipline as an apprentice under the renowned studio furniture maker, Wendy Maruyama.
As master craftsman, Bob brings thirty years of traditional woodworking methods to Troscan’s shop during design, prototyping and production. His passion for furniture design and craft complete Troscan’s vision for timeless and functional furniture.
